Sheldon Man Pleads Not Guilty To Child Endangerment

(Spirit Lake)– A Sheldon man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of child endangerment.

22-year-old Dustin Lokhorst entered the plea Monday in Dickinson County District Court.

Lokhorst had been indicted on the charge by a Dickinson county grand jury in connection with a motorcycle crash in June of last year. Lokhorst was operating the bike that crashed into a parked vehicle in Spirit Lake. A passenger on the motorcycle, 13-year-old Anthony Vos of Sutherland, was killed in the crash.

Lokhorst is scheduled to go on trial March 21st.
