Dickinson Co. Sirens To Be Tested February 15th

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– The countdown is on for county offices that will be moving into the first phase of Dickinson county’s new courthouse. The 911 system and Communications Center are among them.

To prepare for that, Dickinson County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Ehret says they’ll start testing equipment in the new Comm Center next week. He says sirens in Arnolds Park, Lake Park, Milford, Okoboji, Spirit Lake, Terril and Wahpeton will sound periodically that day, February 15th.

If things go accordingly, Ehret says the 911 system and new Communications Center should be totally up and running from the new courthouse Wednesday, March 1st.
