(Spencer)– A Spencer teen received minor injuries in a rollover accident earlier this week.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Jessica Whitfill of Spencer was northbound on 250th Avenue when she lost control on the gravel road. Authorities say Whitfill over-corrected as the vehicle slid west and went into the east ditch where it rolled…coming to rest on the passenger side.
Whitfill was cited for failure to maintain control.
Three thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1992 Buick Regal she was driving.
The mishap took place around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
