(Spencer)– Charges have been filed against three Everly teens accused of entering a home and stealing a vase with 700 to 800-dollars in change in it.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a complaint it received of a theft from 302 East Second Street in Everly that happened between July 30th and July 31st of this year.
Authorities say their investigation resulted in the arrests of three teens…all from Everly.
13-year-old Michael Murphy, Junior was charged with burglary in the third degree…a class “D” felony; and theft in the fourth degree…a serious misdemeanor. 13-year-old Kyle Frederick was charged with burglary in the third degree…a class “D” felony; and a 16-year-old female juvenile was charged with theft in the fifth degree…a serious misdemeanor.
All three were cited into juvenile court and released to their parents.
