(Emmetsburg)– An Emmetsburg man was injured Thursday when the vehicle he was driving left a road and rolled.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Byron Brinkman was driving a 1997 Dodge westbound in the 5000 block of 380th Street when he lost control. The vehicle skidded until it caught the south shoulder of the road, then rolled several times.
Brinkman was taken by ambulance to Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg where he was treated for possible injuries.
The vehicle sustained an estiamted four thousand dollars in damage.
Brinkman was charged with failure to maintain control.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Emmetsburg Fire Department and the Palo Alto County Ambulance Service.
