(Arnolds Park)– Officials aren’t saying much about a jet ski accident Monday on East Lake Okoboji that sent one person to the hospital.
Marty Ebe of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ Enforcement Division tells KUOO news a 12-year-old was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare. Ebe didn’t know the extent or nature of the injuries.
Ebe says it was a low-speed collision. He had no other details regarding the incident, including the name or hometown of the injured party.
The mishap took place shortly after 1:00 p.m. Monday just off the Ritz on East Lake Okoboji.
