Domestic Results In Drug Charges Against Two Spirit Lake Residents

(Spirit Lake)– A report of a domestic disturbance has resulted in drug charges against two Spirit Lake people.

Spirit Lake police say they were called shortly before 10:00 p.m. Monday to 602 16th Street regarding a domestic dispute. Once there officers discovered several pieces of drug paraphernalia. Officers subsequently obtained a search warrant that resulted in them finding a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

51-year-old Jerald Roger Duhn and 50-year-old Debra Anne Mouw were charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…third offense…a class “D” felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.

Mouw was also charged with frequenting a disorderly house.

Both Duhn and Mouw were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
