(Spencer)– A worker with the Clay County Road Department escaped injury Tuesday when a dump truck he was driving rolled.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Thomas Herrig of Webb was northbound on 240th Avenue and was turning onto 400th Street when the truck’s load shifted. Herrig lost control as the truck went into the north ditch, rolling onto the driver’s side.
The truck sustained an estimated 25-thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place shortly before 8:00 a.m.
