(Spencer)– Just as it was being announced this (Friday) morning that Celebrity Apprentice finalist and Poison front man Bret Michaels was going to perform at this year’s Clay County Fair came word the rocker had suffered what doctors say was a “warning stroke” and that he has a hole in his heart.
Michaels is scheduled to perform in front of the grandstand at the Clay county Fair at September 19th. He’s currently recuperating and Phil Hurst, the fair’s General Manager, tells KUOO news that as of now the show is definitely still on.
The Clay County Fair will be part of Michael’s “Roses and Thorns World Tour 2010”.
Grandstand mail-in and online ticket sales begin June 21st; phone ticket orders begin July 12th. The Grandstand Box Office opens July 19th.
The 2010 Clay County Fair runs September 11th through the 19th.
