(Spencer)– Spencer police are looking for whoever’s reponsible for a recent rash of vehicle break-ins.
Police received the first report of a car burglary at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday. A pickup truck parked on Second Avenue Southeast was entered and had several stereo components removed. Estimated value of the equipment is 165-dollars. The vehicle wasn’t locked at the time of the theft.
The second report came in just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday. Authorities say a car was broken into on East 10th Street and had stereo equipment stolen. Value of the missing items was estimated at 470-dollars.
An investigation continues.
