Clay Co. Traffic Stop Results In Charges Against Sioux Rapids Man

(Spencer)– A traffic stop Monday evening in Clay county has resulted in the arrest of a Sioux Rapids man on drug and traffic charges.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 1900 block of County Road B-24 for a traffic violation. A subsequent search of the vehicle determined the driver, 18-year-old Camaron Patrick, was in possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor; and excessive speed…a simple misdemeanor.

Patrick was booked into the Clay county jail.

The traffic stop took place around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
