(Spirit Lake)– A report of suspicious activity at a Spirit Lake business has resulted in the arrests of two Spencer residents on drug charges.
Spirit Lake police say they received the report shortly before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. During the course of their investigation, authorities made contact with two subjects. A subsequent search of the vehicle the two were in resulted in an officer finding a substance alleged to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
23-year-old- Jean Michael Brown and 18-year-old Elizabeth Anderson…both of Spencer…were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Brown and Anderson were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
