(Estherville)– Residents living along the west fork of the Des Moines River in Emmet county are being urged to attend an informational meeting this Tuesday (March 14th).
Doctor Bill Moreau is among those spearheading a “Water Trail” project on that stretch of the river, designed to increase and improve public access to the waterway. Moreau says Tuesday’s meeting with landowners along the river is the first step in the process. He says the water trails group will present some of their proposed plans and allow landowners to ask questions and express any concerns.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tuesday (March 14th) in the meeting room of the Sleep Inn and Suites on the east edge of Estherville.
