(Spencer)– Spencer police are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a recent rash of break-ins to a number of businesses and atleast one church.
Burglaries were reported this (Wednesday) morning at the Center Cafe and a chiropractic office at the South Park Mall. A burglary was reported to police Tuesday at the First Congregational Church in Spencer. A DVD player, VCR, video camera and an office fire-safe were reported missing.
Additional burglaries have occurred at Jakes Bar, Oasis Bar and the Spencer Theatre.
Clay County Crimestoppers is offering a 500-dollar reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in any of the burglaries.
