(Undated)– You’ll have an opportunity to hear from local lawmakers firsthand this weekend in a series of legislative forums that will be going on in the area.
The first is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Saturday (3/25) at the Spencer city council chambers. It’s part of an “Eggs and Issues” series of forums put on by the Spencer Chamber of Commerce. The forum will feature State Representatives Mike May of Spirit Lake, Marcie Frevert of Emmetsburg and Royd Chambers of Sheldon along with Senators David Johnson of Ocheyedan and Jack Kibbie of Emmetsburg.
Another forum with local lawmakers will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (3/25) at the Community Center in Lake Park. It will feature State Representatives May and Chambers along with Senator Johnson.
Legislators will give an overview of the current session and take questions and comments.
