(Emmetsburg)– Authorities in Palo Alto county are investigating a couple of burglaries in the Cylinder area.
Authorities say a burglary was reported at the Nick Gappa residence last week. It’s believed to have happened between 5:00 p.m. March 20th and noon on the 22nd. Gappa reported the theft of three handguns, worth over one thousand dollars.
The Sheriff’s Office is also investigating a burglary at the Cylinder RV storage building. Sometime between October 2nd of last year and January 11th this year, thieves stole several electronic items valued at 27-hundred dollars.
