(Arnolds Park)– Reconstruction of the Hinshaw, or Trigg’s Bridge continues. The bridge just east of Arnolds Park has been under construction since early last winter. But Arnolds Park City Administrator Ron Walker says the project remains pretty much on schedule. He cautions though that recent rain and additional rain that’s in the forecast could throw that schedule off. The way it stands now, Walker says the plan was to start pouring the bridge deck this Saturday, but with all the rain he says that’s now questionable. A subcontractor is expected to start pouring the roadway itself by April 10th. Completion is still slated for May 20th. Walker says the causeway under the bridge should hopefully be open for boat traffic and dock barges by the end of next week.
