(Spirit Lake)– Flooding along the Little Sioux River in western Dickinson county has resulted in two roads being closed.
190th Avenue between 110th Street and 120th Street in Diamond Lake Township was closed at 3:00 p.m. Saturday; and 180th Street between 170th Avenue and 190th Avenue in Lakeville Township was closed at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
Officials say water is flowing over the roads in those areas and that they will remain impassable until further notice.
They add more roads could be subject to closure should the water continue to rise.
