(Spirit Lake)– An Estherville man has been cited in connection with a two-vehicle crash last week in Dickinson county that injured himself and four other people.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Jared Haukoos of Estherville was cited for driving on the wrong side of the roadway.
Authoritites say Haukoos was driving a 2004 Ford pickup eastbound on 130th Street when he collided with a westbound 1988 Mitsubishi pickup driven by 18-year-old Nathan Shipman of Lake Park.
Both drivers and three passengers were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with unspecified injuries.
The crash took place shortly before 9:00 p.m. last Wednesday (July 5th) in the 2000 block of 130th Street in Dickinson county on the south side of Welsh Lake.
