(Milford)– A single-vehicle crash west of Milford this (Tuesday) morning sent one person to the hospital.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Krista Doll of Milford was westbound on County Road A-34 three miles west of Milford when she crossed the center line. Authorities say Doll overcorrected, throwing the vehicle into a spin. It then entered the north ditch where it hit a farm drive and became airborne…landing in a cornfield. Authorities say the vehicle flipped upon impact, ejecting Doll. The vehicle came to rest on its side.
Doll was transported by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. There was no word on the extent of her injuries.
The mishap took place around 8:15 a.m. It remains under investigation.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Milford and Arnolds Park Police Departments, Milford Fire and Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance.
