(Arnolds Park)– What’s described as a large altercation Tuesday evening at the Green Space in Arnolds Park sent two local juveniles to the hospital and charges being filed against 10 people.
Arnolds Park Police Chief Al Kruger says officers were called to a report of a large fight around 9:00 p.m. Kruger says two juveniles from Milford were injured as a result of the altercation and were transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare for treatment.
Upon investigating and speaking with witnesses, Kruger says officers determined atleast 10 people were involved in the fracas.
Charges have been filed against Bounthavy Keosaksith, Jesus Leon, Steve Lo, Noe Torres and Jimmy Thithavong…all of Worthington; along with Daniel Barjas Soto of Veil, Iowa; Thongvisack Sayavong of Rock Rapids; Francisco Vargas of Dennison and two juveniles who’s names and hometowns weren’t released. They were all charged with two counts of aggravated assault. The adults were booked into the Dickinson county jail; the two juveniles were transported to the YES (Youth Emergency Services) Center in Cherokee.
Kruger isn’t sure who or what provoked the brawl, or whether or not it was gang-related.
