Children’s Book about Okoboji

New York author Sarah Shey has written a children’s book called “Blue Lake Days.” Shey grew up in Algona and spent many vacations in Okoboji both as a child and adult. She tells KUOO News her impetus to write was having a 3 year old son to whom she read books about New York, and decided to write a book about a little girl visiting Okoboji. It is available at several outlets including the Inn at Okoboji and Hill Avenue Book Company.
