The Lakes Regional Healthcare board of directors approved its 2006-2007 fiscal year budget Monday night. The budget expected patient revenues of 38.6 million dollars and a net income of about 540 thousand dollars. The buddget also allows for 16 million dollars in losses from serving Medicare patients. Hospital CEO Richard Kielman tells KUOO News the facility continues to follow the trend of adding more out-patient services.
