(Spencer)– A Spencer man was injured Thursday evening when the car he was driving collided with a bridge in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 65-year-old James Glander was traveling on 340th Street about three quarters of-a-mile east of County Road M-50 when he lost control and struck a bridge. The vehicle then went into the north ditch.
Glander was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital. The extent of his injuries wasn’t known.
Six thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1999 Chevrolet Glander was driving.
Glander was charged with failure to have control.
The mishap took place shortly after 8:30 p.m.
