(Ruthven)– A Spencer man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover early Sunday southwest of Ruthven.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Adam Hoogeterp was driving a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 pickup eastbound on 390th Street about four miles southwest of Ruthven when he lost control. The vehicle went into the south ditch, came back onto the gravel road, then flipped on its top.
Hoogeterp was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with numerous injuries.
5,500-dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle he was driving.
The mishap took place around 3:20 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities say charges are pending in connection with the mishap.
