(Sibley)– The execution of a search warrant early Saturday landed a Sibley man in jail on a meth charge.
Osceola County Sheriff Doug Weber says deputies executed a search warrant at 2005 Oakhill Avenue in Sibley around 2:30 a.m. Saturday which turned up a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Weber says 24-year-old Joel Wallinga was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine…a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor. Wallinga was booked into the Osceola county jail.
The Sioux and Lyon County Special Response Team assisted in executing the search warrant.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office and Spencer Police Department assisted in the investigation.
