(Estherville)– Officials with Emmet County Public Health and Iowa Lakes Community College say they’re very pleased with how things went with Wednesday’s mumps vaccination clinic at the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
Officials say 114 shots were administered between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Karen Miller, Emmet County Public Health Director, says things went smoothly with nearly 50 workers/volunteers helping out.
For anyone who missed Wednesday’s clinic, the remaining doses of vaccine will be given to 18 to 22-year-olds at the Emmet County Public Health Department today (Thursday) from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The office is located across the street from the Estherville-Lincoln Central High School on South 17th Street in Estherville.
