(Everly)– An Everly woman escaped injury but faces a charge in connection with a single-vehicle rollover that took place Wednesday.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Holly Wethor was westbound on County Road B-24 and was slowing to turn north onto 140th Avenue when the vehicle started to slide sideways on the gravel. The 1997 Chevrolet Blazer she was driving went into the east ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its top facing north.
Wethor was charged with failure to maintain control.
The vehicle sustained an estimated three thousand dollars in damage.
