(Emmetsburg)– Authorities in Palo Alto county are investigating a complaint of animal cruelty.
The Sheriff’s Office say it received a report Sunday of several lambs that had been shot and killed in a pen in the 4800 block of 545th Avenue near West Bend.
It’s believed the incident took place between Saturday evening and early Sunday.
