(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake city council Tuesday tabled action on a proposal setting fees for commercial haulers to dump at the city’s green waste disposal site in Orleans.
It means a moratorium prohibiting commercial operators from using the site will continue. The city, however, will still honor commercial permits that were issued prior to the moratorium being put in place.
Council members last (Tues.) evening said they want the site available exclusively as a benefit to Spirit Lake residents.
