(Primghar)– Authorities in O’Brien and Lyon counties are investigating a rash of burglaries at golf course clubhouses. It’s believed all of the incidents took place between 1:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. the morning of Wednesday, May 6th.
One of the burglaries took place at the Sheldon Country Club where entry was gained by prying on a walk-in door. A small amount of cash, food and other items was reported missing.
A burglary also took place at the Sanborn Country Club where entry was gained by prying open a window. Several items were reported missing there as well.
The other burglary occurred at the clubhouse at the Otter Valley Golf Course on the south edge of George, in Lyon county. Entry was gained by prying a door.
Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate the burglaries. Information that leads to an arrest or conviction of whover’s responsible for the incidents will receive a 250-dollar reward through the Crimeduster program.
