(Arnolds Park)– A joint investigation has landed an Arnolds Park man in jail on drug charges.
The Arnolds Park Police Department says 20-year-old Eduardo Miranda was arrested around 11:00 a.m. Monday just outside the Arnolds Park Post Office after taking possession of a package containing about three pounds of what’s alleged to be marijuana.
Miranda was booked into the Dickinson county jail on one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and two counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp…all are class “D” felonies.
Eduardo is also being held for Immigation and Customs Enforcement agents for deportation and on a warrant for a probation violation.
Arnolds Park police were assisted in their investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force and the Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
