(Spencer)– A traffic stop last week in Spencer has resulted in drug charges being filed against a Spencer teen.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle last Friday night for littering. Upon investigating, it was determined a 17-year-old female juvenile that was in the vehicle was allegedly in possession of tobacco and that a 15-year-old male juvenile was allegedly in possession of a glass marijuana pipe and a small amount of what’s alleged to be marijuana.
The juvenile female was cited for underage tobacco and released; the male was cited into juvenile court for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and was released into his mother’s custody.
No names have been released by authorities.
