(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Sunday at the intersection of East 12th Street and 10th Avenue East in Spencer sent one person to the hospital with possible injuries.
Spencer police say 54-year-old Valorie Van Ampting of Spencer was northbound on 10th Avenue East and was attempting to turn onto East 12th Street when she collided with a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Jennifer Schuster of Spencer who was southbound on 10th Avenue East.
Schuster was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital.
No injuries were reported to Van Ampting who was cited for failure to yield on making a left turn.
Five thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1993 Buick driven by Van Ampting; damage to a 2006 Ford driven by Schuster was estimated at four thousand dollars.
