(Sibley)– A Sibley man faces multiple charges following an assault that took place Sunday in Sibley.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 204 6th Avneue in Sibley. Upon arriving, a suspect in the case, 20-year-old Alberto Ramirez-Gonzalez, had fled the scene. He was arrested later in the day following a traffic stop in Sibley for allegedly driving without a license, a simple misdemeanor.
Ramirez-Gonzalez was also charged with domestic assault and theft in the fifth degree…both simple misdemeanors; criminal mischief…a serious misdemeanor; burglary in the second degree…a class “C” felony; and stalking in the second degree…also a class “C” felony.
Ramirez-Gonzalez was booked into the Osceola county jail on a $21,900 cash bond and is being held on a detainer for immigration officials.
