(Emmetsburg)– A single-vehicle rollover Friday in Palo Alto county sent one person to the hospital.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Faith Schmidt of Ayrshire was driving a 2000 Buick LeSabre on a county road when she lost control. The vehicle drifted to the right and started to fishtail. It then went into the west ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.
Schmidt was taken to the Palo Alto County Hospital by private vehicle. There was no immediate information on the nature or extent of her injuries.
The vehicle was totaled.
Schmidt was cited for failure to maintain control.
The crash took place shortly before 8:00 a.m.
