(Spencer)– A Spencer man who confronted authorities in the lobby of the Clay county jail over the arrest of a friend found himself behind bars.
The Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Andrew Sunblad walked into the lobby of the Clay county jail and started screaming obscenities about the arrest of a friend, demanding to speak to the arresting officer. The communications operator then contacted the deputy who was booking in the friend on an assault charge. The deputy met Sunblad in the lobby and arrested him for public intoxication.
Sunblad was then booked into the Clay county jail.
