(Primghar)– A Primghar man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a sexual abuse conviction.
49-year-old Jonathon Strain of Primghar was sentenced earlier this month after being convicted of sexual abuse in the second degree…a class “B” felony.
The charge stems from an incident June 30th of this year in which Strain was accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.
Strain was also placed into the custody of the Director of the Iowa Department of Corrections for the rest of his life, with eligibility for parole. He must also register as a sex offender.
The case was investigated by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
