(Estherville)– While the oath of office is being administered to one Estherville city council member, another will be stepping down.
The oath of office will be administered at Monday’s meeting to new member Ann Goebel. She’ll represent the city’s Fourth ward for a three-year term expiring January 1st, 2014.
Meanwhile, John Wittneben has resigned from his seat representing the city’s second ward. The council will decide whether the vacancy will be filled by appointment or special election.
