November 22, 2014

(Rushmore, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Friday on Interstate 90 in Nobles county.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 58-year-old William Dole of West Point, Mississippi was westbound when his visibility was suddenly reduced due to a passing vehicle, causing him to collide with the rear of another westbound vehicle in front of him, driven by 23-year-old Betsy Deering of Savage, Minnesota.

Deering was taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington where she was treated for minor injuries. No injuries were reproted to Dole.

A 2006 Western semi tractor driven by Dole sustained moderate damage; a 2004 Mazda driven by Deering was totaled.

The collision took place shortly before noon Friday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
