(Spirit Lake)– Family, friends, county workers and the general public turned out Monday at a reception wishing Wayne Northey all the best and to thank him for his 22 years of service as a Dickinson county Supervisor.
Northey reflected upon some of the major changes over that time, saying construction of the new courthouse was probably the most significant.
Northey says he got a lot of personal fulfillment out of serving as a county supervisor, adding he was able to meet many people he otherwise would never have had the opportunity to know.
Northey says he plans to spend additional time with his wife Margaret and family.
He thanks all those who supported him over the years and worked with him while serving as county supervisor.
