(Arnolds Park)– Organizers of the 2011 University of Okoboji Winter Games have announced who the cheerleaders will be for this year’s event.
They include Kathy Locke of Milford; Beryl Marra of Arnolds Park; Jan Bowles, Walt Holman, Steve Lindeberg, Wayne Northey and Denny Perry all of Spirit Lake; and KUOO/KUQQ/KUYY General Manager Marty Spies.
The eight cheerleaders were voted on at Thursday evening’s Winter Games organizational meeting.
They will officially be introduced to the public during the Winter Games Extravaganza the Saturday evening of Winter Games at Preservation Plaza at Arnolds Park.
The cheerleaders will reign over the various activities of the University of Okoboji Winter Games January 28th-30th.
