(Mallard)– A single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Palo Alto county injured a Mallard man.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Jackson Horsman of Mallard was westbound on a county road about five miles east of Mallard when he lost control of a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu. Deputies say the vehicle went into the north ditch and collided with a pile of snow.
Horsman was found in the vehicle by a passerby and was transported to the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg by ambulance. There was no immediate word on the nature of his injuries or condition.
A damage estimate to the vehicle wasn’t immediately available.
The crash took place around 4:00 p.m.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Mallard First Responders and the Palo Alto County Hospital ambulance.
