Arnolds Park Crash Injures Two Men

(Arnolds Park)– A single-vehicle crash early this (Friday) morning in Arnolds Park sent two people to the hospital.

Arnolds Park Police Chief Al Kruger tells KUOO news David Warburton of Milford was northbound on Highway 71 in front of Oak Hill Marina when he lost control of a 1997 Chevrolet pickup. The vehicle left a curve in the road and rolled.

Warburton and a passenger, Nathan McGinnis of Johnston, Iowa, were both taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with what was described as unspecified injuries.

The vehicle was totaled.

Arnolds Park police were assisted by the Milford and Okoboji Police Departments, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Milford Fire and Rescue, Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire and Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics.

The crash took place around 3:45 a.m. Traffic was routed around the scene while crews worked to remove the wreckage.

Kruger says charges are pending in connection with the crash.
