(Spirit Lake)– The victim of a deadly snowmobile crash Friday night in Spirit Lake has been identified as 45-year-old Thomas Lee Moore of Spirit Lake.
Police say Moore was northbound on East Lake Okoboji when he collided with a tree at Isthmus Park on the north side of the lake.
Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash took place around 11:00 p.m.
Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics, Spirit Lake First Responders, the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
