(Spencer)– A Spencer man wanted on an outstanding warrant was taken into custody early last Wednesday.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy arrested 57-year-old Steve Wolter who was wanted on an original charge of contempt of court.
Upon further investigation, it was found that Wolter was in possession of what’s alleged to be Hydrocodone in a different prescription pill bottle. Wolter was then additionally charged with possession of prescription drugs…a serious misdemeanor. He was booked into the Clay county jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond on the prescription drug charge.
