(Spirit Lake)– An investigation into a complaint of an assault landed a Spirit Lake man in jail.
Spirit Lake police say they received a complaint around 2:46 p.m. Friday of an assault that had allegedly taken place at 607 Lake Street Apartment 1 in Spirit Lake.
Police say a subsequent investigation into the alleged incident resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old Eric Triplet of Spirit Lake. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of domestic abuse assault…third offense…a class “D” felony; and willful injury…also a class “D” felony.
