Roads Re-Open Following Storm

November 22, 2014

(Undated)– Stretches of Highways 9 and 10 that were closed due to the storm earlier this week have reopened.

Crews with the Iowa Department of Transportation reopened Highway 9 late Wednesday afternoon between Estherville and Armstrong in Emmet county.

Highway 10, which had been closed between U.S. Highways 71 and 59 in Clay and O’Brien counties, was also reopened Wednesday.

Motorists are reminded that city, county, and state road crews will remain busy in coming days widening narrow cuts and pushing back piles at intersections.
