(Estherville)– The wind energy and turbine technology program at Iowa Lakes Community College is getting some more exposure. The program is featured in the February edition of “Living With Energy in Iowa”.
The article details the history of the program at Iowa Lakes Community College, the various equipment that’s in place for the program, and the curriculum. It points out that wind drives the renewable energy program at Iowa Lakes.
The magazine is for members of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, of which Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative is a partner.
ILEC has partnered with Iowa Lakes Community College’s wind program since 2003.
