(Spirit Lake)– Some assistance is on the way for Spirit Lake residents that had tree damage in last weekend’s ice storm.
Public Works Director Dwight Dohlman says residents should have the branches and brush cut, bundled and placed curbside for pick up by city crews THIS FRIDAY (2/25)ONLY.
In addition, Dohlman says the city’s green waste facility east of Orleans will be opened this Thursday (2/24). Residents of both Spirit Lake and Orleans will be allowed to use the site to dispose of branches, but Dohlman says they’ll need to use caution due to the muddy condition. Because of that, he says residents should utilize the curbside pickup as much as possible.
